I have been teaching at Haslett High School since 2020, after spending 1/2 year as a long term substitute in the spring of 2019. I feel fortunate to be a member of the Haslett educational community.

My educational background includes degrees in chemistry, mathematics, and sustainable community development. I hold a masters degree from Central Michigan University in chemistry education and have taught chemistry at community colleges in both Alpena, MI and Mount Pleasant, MI prior to moving to the greater Lansing area. Last year, in December of 2019, I finished my doctoral degree in sustainable community development.

My five children have all traveled to Haiti with me and my non-profit Return to Haiti, Inc to serve the children in both Croix des Bouquets and Belle Anse, where we provide early education services and are in the planning phases of sustainable environmental programs.
