E-mail is the best way to contact me. Note that e-mail sent during school hours will produce the quickest response. If emailing after school hours, I will respond the following school day. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
I grew up on the westside of Lansing and earned my teaching certificate and Bachelor of Science degree in 2007 from Grand Valley State University. Then, I taught in Harmony, Florida (southeast of Orlando) for the first five years of my career before moving back to Michigan in 2012 to be closer to my family.
I have been teaching at Haslett High School since 2012. Over the course of my teaching career, I have taught Geometry, Geometry Honors, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Algebra 2 Honors, Precalculus, and 10th and 11th-grade English.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching scary movies, cheering for the MSU Spartans, and shopping at Lilly Pulitzer. I have also been known to sing a math song to my students from time to time!

Classroom Info
All assignments for my courses will be posted on our classroom calendar, which can be found in each student's Google Classroom under Class Resources. Students must use their school e-mail to log into Google Classroom. Students should consult this calendar daily to keep up with assignments, due dates, and upcoming assessments. I will send out a welcome e-mail with the calendar link for parents the first week of school. You may use this link to the view the most updated version (I edit the document weekly to accurately reflect classroom happenings). You may also use your student's log-in and password to access the calendar in Google Classroom.
For Algebra 2H and Precalculus, all assignments will be submitted via Google Classroom. You will need to use the scan feature to upload pictures of your completed work. Assignments are due by 7:40 am the day after it is assigned.
